Bartley’s

One of the must visit restaurants in Cambridge, MA is Bartley's, a landmark burger place in Harvard Square.

 

One of my favorite things about Bartley’s, besides the amazing burgers, are the quirky names they give their burgers:

My burger of choice was the American Idol, which even Simon would love ;)

The restaurant itself is very small, crowded almost all the time, and interestingly decorated…

 

Oh, and don’t forget the Lime Rickey's, aka, the tastiest soft drink ever!

A random post about me

 

I’m sitting at home waiting for a blizzard, wondering what it would it would be like to live somewhere sunny…so I thought I would write a post about the things that don’t deserve their own post, just an update of sorts…

I got new gloves! Aren’t they cute?

Don’t be fooled, these are not  for snow shoveling. I have another pair for that.

I forgot to include this letter in the post below, but this has to be one of my favorite letter illustrations from her:

My semester ended with a presentation, so I had to dress up in a business suit. I felt so grown up…

Also, my group was awesome. Best business plan presentation ever!

This week I made a discovery, adding peanut butter to chocolate frosting, makes for a super delicious topping on cake:

The cake was not my creation, but I did make some Cherry Coke cupcakes for a SYTYCD finale party on Tuesday.

I’m home for a few days before I leave for California, so here a little post about my best friend, who also happens to be an “artist”.

(Side note: Baby has a real name, a perfectly good one. But we will call him Baby until his parents tell us to stop…or he tells us to stop. Also, it’s pronounced “Baaaybeee”)

Well, I'm basically done with this semester (I say basically because I have still have a presentation and a day of work to go, but that's nothing compared to two straight days of finals).

I'm sorry for being such a downer these last few days and talking about school so much. I promise to make it up with many cute baby and delicious food posts in the days to come. Maybe even some winter-y nature, but that's kind of iffy, considering that any snow we've gotten lately has been immediately melted by rain.

The weather here in Cambridge, just can't make up it's mind!

Oh, and here is a photo that made me really happy today, so I just wanted to share it with you!
